Nichols Kaster, PLLP, an employee, consumer, and civil rights law firm, seeks a Wage Theft Case Support Clerk for its wage theft litigation team in its Minneapolis office with anticipated start date in May/June or sooner. For nearly 50 years, Nichols Kaster has been dedicated to fighting for clients in individual and class action matters. With offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota and San Francisco, California, Nichols Kaster is a proven powerhouse in complex class and collective litigation, taking on some of the largest corporations in the world and securing significant recoveries for plaintiffs in cases across the country. This role is an integral part of our litigation team (consisting of attorneys and other support staff) and plays a pivotal role in representing workers in class and collective action lawsuits across the country to recover unpaid wages from employers. Responsibilities: Acting as the first point of contact with the firm’s clients Communicating with clients and collecting information, and assisting attorneys with client and case management Managing client communications and documents in various databases Participating in regular team meetings regarding case strategy Requirements B.S., B.A. or Associates Degree Fluency in spoken and proper written Spanish (desired) Outstanding interpersonal skills and client service skills Ability to work independently Superior organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal skills Must be a team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently in high pressure, time sensitive situations Technical knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k and profit sharing Participation in yearly discretionary bonus program Paid Time Off Group life insurance Voluntary life and vision insurance Mass transit and parking programs Access to IDS Center fitness center
