Scottish Forestry is an agency of the Scottish Government, responsible for promoting, controlling and regulating all aspects of woodland management throughout Scotland. We also provide advice and support on areas of Scottish Government policy, including the delivery of the Scottish Forestry Strategy (SFS) Implementation Plan.
As part of the Case Support Team this role provides administrative support for the Conservancy’s Grants & Regulations function and an information and enquiry service to agents and the general public. Case Support Officers also assist with general administration duties to provide support to the Operations Team and the Office Manager ensuring business needs are met and the smooth running of the Team and Office.
Perth and Argyll Conservancy covers 400,000 hectares of forest from Arbroath to Islay, including two national parks and four major towns and cities. A key part of our work is woodland creation with the Conservancy approving more than 3000 ha/year through the Forestry Grant Scheme (FGS).
