Job Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide support to participants
  • Be fully versed in current Policies and Procedures which apply in Emergency, Transitional, and CRF Programs.
  • Be aware of participants and their activities
  • Liaise with Parole Officers. Brief Parole Officers when appropriate
  • Assist participants with Case Plans, and paper files.
  • Manage client caseloads which is made up of men who are currently on parole in one form or another
  • Complete parole client intakes and orientation to centre
  • Carry out casework duties, including analysis of data and formulation of treatment plans
  • Conduct individual counselling sessions with clients
  • Prepare termination summaries for each parole client
  • Complete statistical recording as required
  • Make checks on out of building parole clients as necessary
  • Present to the Client Review Board at meetings, when required, a written or oral report on the conduct recovery plan and progress of each assigned parole client
  • Supervise daily activities such as room checks, distribution of parolee allowance, distributions of equipment, etc.

  • CRITICAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENTRequired to work in co-operation with other staff members in job related areas, and treat all residents, parole officers, and members of the public with dignity and confidentiality.Governance Boards and Councils: None.Internal: Residential Services Supervisor (ACSO), clients, Residential Case Workers, other staff.External: Community Partners, Parole Officers, etc.
