Description
Description Provide assessment, planning, counseling/therapy, referrals, advocacy and other services to birth families, resource parents and children/youth that have joined resource families. Work includes both Foster Care and Adoption case work. Provide assessment, planning, counseling/therapy, referrals, advocacy, and collateral contacts. Prepare and maintain timely documentation and records in accordance with agency, state accreditation, and other requirements, policies, and procedures. Testify at court hearings as necessary. Complete necessary court reports and court updates. Participate in regular peer review, individual supervision, and clinical consultation as appropriate. Establish and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with the agency and community. Plan, design, and present educational programs as appropriate. Participates in training for foster care/adoption parents. Maintain agency standards regarding confidentiality, quality, and productivity. Position based in Dover, with state-wide travel required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related degree, required. Previous experience in the field, preferred.
