About the role 

Through individual support, case planning, family focused interventions and mediation this role helps strengthen relationships, improve communication and promote positive outcomes. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, to navigate conflict, overcome barriers, the role helps young people develop greater stability, resilience and independence.

About you 

You build trust easily, think creatively and enjoy working alongside people to find practical ways forward. With resilience and a strong understanding of complex family dynamics your key experience will include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role supporting people experiencing complex or challenging circumstances
  • Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-informed, strengths-based practice
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills respectfully engaging with diverse communities
  • Demonstrated adaptability, complex decision making and confidence to work autonomously
  • Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Department of Education Clearance issued within the past 3 years.
  • National Police Clearance issued within the last six months.
