As a Casemix Coder, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate casemix coding services for inpatient and same-day episodes of care. Your expertise will ensure the creation of precise morbidity and casemix profiles that play a key role in financial planning, research, and service delivery within the healthcare sector.
Working closely with the Manager of Patient Services, you will contribute to the collection and reporting of crucial health data in line with the South Australian Health Commission’s Integrated South Australian Activity Collection (ISAAC) and Casemix Reporting Schedule. This is a vital role that supports not only the operational needs of health care delivery but also contributes to improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
