Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Application Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable team. This position is responsible for accurately applying cash receipts to customer accounts, managing invoicing and statements, and performing other assigned duties to support the department’s operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma. Proven experience in cash application or accounts receivable roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience with AS400 is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring timely and precise allocation.
Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and send out customer invoices and statements.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and discrepancies.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
