POSITION OVERVIEW
The Coordinator of Cash Application processes, posts and applies all payments received from various sources to the appropriate customer account and invoices in addition to processing credit notes and internal credits and re-bills using a web application.
Furthermore, the Cash Application Coordinator is responsible for evaluating and optimizing the internal processes of the department in addition to supporting the Cash Application Supervisor.
Finally, the Cash Application Coordinator completes ad-hoc requests as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting cycle such as cash application, accounts payable, credit etc.
· General accounting knowledge a must
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel)

· Create debit and credit memos as required.
· Ongoing evaluation of the efficiency of the business processes related to the Cash Application department.
· Involved proactively in ongoing matters with the objective of improving the status quo.
· Provide support to the Cash Application Supervisor as required.
