LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established company in Alpharetta, GA to identify a Cash Application Manager to join their growing finance team. This is a newly added role due to company growth, and the ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within cash applications and a passion for process improvement.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cash Application Manager will lead a team of approximately 10–15 specialists, driving operational excellence across cash posting, unapplied cash resolution, and payment reconciliation. This role is key in ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments, while also mentoring the team and optimizing performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in cash applications, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume payment environments
  • Strong understanding of cash application processes, reconciliation, and systems
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team while driving accountability and results
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working onsite in Alpharetta full-time for the first 2 weeks; hybrid (3 days onsite/week) thereafter

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cash Application Specialists
  • Oversee daily cash application operations, ensuring payments are posted accurately and timely
  • Monitor and resolve unapplied cash, misapplied payments, and other discrepancies
  • Drive continuous process improvements and implement best practices
  • Partner cross-functionally with AR, billing, customer service, and finance teams
  • Maintain and develop SOPs and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness
  • Analyze team KPIs and generate reports for senior leadership
