Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us Cash Services have a role in keeping the Bank safe, managing our money well, whilst supporting our customers and other tīma (teams) to deliver on our promises, every day, consistently. You will be super organised, good with number patterns, who enjoys, keeping all documentation up to date. You will benefit from being part of a small tīma and part of a larger organisation who cares about its customers, people and what that can offer you as your career progresses. This is a 9-month fixed term, full time opportunity based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly. We mahi three days in the Auckland office, anchor days being days being Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with the People Leader (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the role: What are the day to day tasks the person will complete? Analysis of current processes, practices and detection methods to identify opportunities for improvement. Communications - both written and verbal with key stakeholders and our suppliers - asking questions to understand. Reporting and documentation, using excel, Microsoft Word, Signavio process maps or other BNZ systems. As a confident writer you will seek to understand a process and be responsible for capturing this for documentation. What is the tīma culture and environment like? We are a small tīma who focus on working hard, delivering results, and having fun along the way. We take our role and supporting our customers seriously and being able to rely on each person to speak up and recognise when things don't feel right is important to us. Our tīma tag is 'Never a dull moment in cash' as no two days are the same. What projects/mahi will the candidate be doing now and into the next year? Being responsible for documentation of operational processes as our business evolves. What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? Helping find improvements, keeping our Bank safe through good risk practice and help solve investigations. What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? Attention to detail and being able to mahi in 'the grey'. Being able to see patterns within the data and knowing what tools will help you find the answers. What will success look like for the candidate in this role? You will have good time management skills - being able to manage your workflow, ask good questions or find out the answer, whilst being able to retain a variety of information you need to do your job well. What specific tech skills are required to be successful? Confident user of technology including proficient user of Excel and Word, with experience or ability to learn process mapping tools and procedures. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? You will have good time management skills - being able to manage your workflow, with short- and longer-term deliverables. Be able to ask good questions to find out the answers. Attention to detail and experience in writing, content management and process mapping.
