Description Primary Function: Joining Cowabunga Bay is the ultimate summer season pass! Department Description: The Cash Control Department assists in the handling of all cash operations at the waterpark, helps in providing end of day and daily reports, oversees all cash control policies regarding cashiers and security, and performs light bookkeeping and accounting functions. Department Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Can count cash and coin currency with accuracy. Audits and verifies the vault at the beginning and end of each day. Has fair knowledge of the Point-of-Sale system to input, monitor, and close out tills. Has foresight to monitor and take actions needed if a till has excess money than threshold. Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner. Ability to count and organize money using coin and currency counting machines. Has high attention to detail during day-to-day operations. Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions. Has excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of interaction with Team Members and Directors. Requirements May be required to stand for long periods of time. May be required to lift at least 10-30 lbs. May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain. Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to communicate effectively.
