About the role: Trents Wholesale, part of Foodstuffs South Island, is looking for a hands-on Cash’n’Carry Supervisor to join our Invercargill team. You’ll lead and support a small team while working alongside them, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role combines customer service, operational oversight, and stock management in a fast-paced wholesale environment.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coach a small team across checkout, customer service, and stock put-away. Ensure in-store pricing is accurate and merchandising is of an exemplary standard. Oversee customer service and resolve complaints effectively. Train staff on compliance, operational, and safety procedures. Support operational tasks including banking, administration, and warehouse duties when required. Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to maintain stock levels and service standards. Ensure the checkout and store areas are clean, tidy, and safe. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm About you: Proven experience supervising staff in a retail or wholesale environment. Strong customer service skills and ability to think on your feet. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting. Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and operational compliance. Intermediate computer skills; experience with SAP or stock systems is desirable. Why join us?
