Description Position: Cash Ops Manager Reports to: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all cash handling and operating procedures, including daily operation of Cashiers and administration of the vault, currency counts, chip counts and maintenance and protection of the Casino bankroll. Essential Duties: Monitors the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to Casino policies and procedures. Ensures proper procedures are followed in accounting for the Casino bankroll. Implements Cash Operations policies and procedures to improve security and efficiency. Assures compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements. Schedules staff according to business needs. Maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management and customers. Manages overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Cash Ops department. Ensures the Cash Operations internal control structure, laws, rules, regulations, and policies and procedures are followed by all employees at all times. Provides continued professional development and supervision of subordinate managers and staff. Interviews, hires and trains employees. Plans, assigns and directs work. Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees as needed. Addresses customer complaints and resolves guest’s problems in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or Accounting required. Five years’ experience relating to casino cash operations field and supervisory experience. Tonkawa Enterprise cashier experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Proven ability to train and supervise subordinates. Strong computer skills in Excel and Word. Strong customer service skills. Strong mathematical aptitude. Must have ability to use good judgment in intense situations. Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
