Job Purpose: Product Manager is responsible for on-going management and development of working capital management solutions related to Cash Management, specifically in areas of Payments & Collections products. This is established through developing and executing strategy plans whilst engaging with both external and internal stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Strategy, Planning and Management Lead and drive Payments Product build and system enhancements projects, with view to improve client experience and increase payments utilization, thus leading to operating account usage, higher transaction volumes and fee income. Drive the commercialization strategy for Payments by defining value proposition, competitive positioning, developing strategies in partnership with Sales and other product teams, creating relevant marketing materials, etc Own end to end client experience by partnering with Client Services, Operations and Implementation across business segments to continuously enhance product delivery and solutions. Present product vision and strategy to senior management and other key stakeholders. Actively engage in cash product roadmap and influence Group Transaction Banking initiatives. Keep abreast of current and future trends in Payments product development. Stay connected to the industry. Manage the growth and profitability of Payments products/solutions, including analyzing utilization opportunities, product rationalization / optimization opportunities, and helping craft the sales strategy and materials Produce and present regular data MI reports and presentation decks to communicate the progress / status of Payments Product portfolio/initiatives/campaigns to internal and external parties Stakeholder Collaboration Engage Legal/Compliance/Risk/CX/Ops/IT teams on the new Payments products & solutions, campaigns and client documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements whilst optimising customer journey Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and support of products and services including notifying and obtaining endorsements from relevant committees where necessary Regulatory Compliance Ensure that controls are built into the product/process delivery process and adherence to guidelines, policies and procedures set by internal / external regulators. Ensure product risk, compliance and audit standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering Qualified/certified in a course related to Cash Management or Treasury Management is preferred. At least 3-5 years of prior working experience Experience in product development/management role, particularly on Payments-related products Previous Cash Management knowledge will be preferred Technical/Functional skills Ability to understand product strategy and use this understanding to define requirements for scaling products and operations through partnerships Strong commercial and product instincts Ability to prioritize and guide cross-functional teams through competing demands and address complex problems. Clear understanding of market dynamics and the ability to track and assess new developments in the market going forward Familiar with workings and usage of domestic and crossborder payment modes in SG context Personal skills (Soft Competencies) Demonstrate great propensity to learn as well as adapting to the situation at hand. Excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as presentation skills. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, especially with different stakeholders (eg. Technology, vendor, Operations) Demonstrate a strong inclination to building bridges as well as appreciate differing views with stakeholders- both internal and external. Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies with minimal management oversight Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution and ensures quality results
