Job Summary Reporting to the Cash Management Head, the role holder will support the development, commercialization and marketing of cash management products with emphasis on Electronic Banking Solutions. As the sales officer the jobholder is directly responsible for: • Contributing to delivering structured product solutions for specific industry and client needs. • Selling collections and payments products and services that meet client needs. • Sales of all other cash management banking products and services. • Contributing to policy direction and ensuring compliance with all Group and statutory requirements • Provide marketing and sales assistance to front-line sales teams in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). • Be the focal point in Client’s interaction for cash management products. • Lead RFP’s • Revenue generation from the products owned by the Sales manager • Address the resolution of any issues that arise on the product platforms, ensuring effective problem resolution. Job Description Sales and Financial Performance Maximises revenue growth through business development Develop effective strategies for winning new clients to generate new income for the Group Originate and execute Cash Management opportunities across: Payments & Collections Liquidity Management & Sweeps Account Services Digital Channels Merchant & e-Collections (where applicable) Identify new sales opportunities in the form of new to bank or new to trade alongside Relationship Managers/Coverage colleagues Achieve the profitability hurdle rate as agreed with Customer Groups Deliver against revenue, deposits, and client penetration targets Identify cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with other product partners Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, from origination to deal closure Client Coverage & Relationship Management Support Relationship Managers in client engagement, solutioning, and deal structuring Lead Cash Management discussions in client meetings, pitches, and RFPs Understand client operating models, cash flows, and industry dynamics Act as a trusted advisor on working capital optimization and digital transformation Stakeholder Management Work closely with: Relationship Management teams Cash Management Product & Pricing Operations & Client Service Technology & Digital Channels Risk, Compliance, and Legal Drive internal alignment to meet client timelines and service expectations Solution Design & Deal Structuring Design tailored Cash Management solutions aligned to client needs and internal capabilities Prepare proposals, pricing models, and business cases in line with bank governance Coordinate onboarding, implementation, and post-implementation support Ensure solutions comply with risk, compliance, AML, and regulatory requirements Governance, Risk & Controls Ensure adherence to internal approval frameworks (e.g. pricing committees, product approvals, CPA) Maintain accurate deal documentation and client records Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal reporting requirements Promote a strong risk and control culture Education Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
