The Effingham Chrome Shop is currently seeking an experienced Retail Cashier to work in our newly renovated chrome shop, which is filled with the latest in new and exciting truck accessories! This individual must be energetic, enjoy interacting with customers, and help them select truck accessories for their big rigs. Responsibilities Assisting customers in the selection and purchase of merchandise Straightening, stocking, and pricing merchandise Resets of displays Keeping displays clean and presentable Become familiar with product uses and pricing. Receive stock and conduct inventory counts. Always provide exceptional customer service. Cash handling and register operations Occasional cleaning duties as assigned Requirements Friendly and helpful personality with a willingness to assist customers promptly Previous retail and register experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work well with others Ability to stand for 8 hours during scheduled shift Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to climb a ladder Benefits Paid every Friday!
