Description
Responsible for accurately receiving, recording, and safeguarding all cash and non-cash transactions, ensuring proper reconciliation, timely bank deposits, and compliance with company financial controls and procedures Key Responsibilities: Receive and process customer payments (cash, credit card, debit card, checks) accurately. Issue receipts and record all transactions using SAP or the approved financial system. Conduct daily cash counts and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts. Reconcile daily collections and report any variances immediately. Prepare and transfer collected funds to the company bank accounts as per procedures. Process approved refunds and adjustments in line with finance policies. Maintain proper records and transaction reports for audit and control purposes. Respond to basic customer inquiries related to payments and escalate issues when required. Ensure cashier area is secure, organized, and compliant with internal control standards. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1 - 3 years of experience. Accurate cash handling and reconciliation skills Basic knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles Proficiency in using ERP systems and cash registers (SAP preferred) High attention to detail and numerical accuracy Professional communication and customer interaction skills Excellent in English and Arabic, verbal and written.
