The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by accurately processing transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers at the checkout, making your role essential in creating a welcoming and efficient environment Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous service at the checkout. Accurately process sales transactions using the cash register and handle multiple forms of payment. Scan merchandise, ensure prices and quantities are correct, and issue receipts. Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area. Assist with restocking shelves and inventory management as needed. Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
