JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and a desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

SKILLS

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in food preparation.
• Experience in food service or cashiering is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
