Description POSITION SUMMARY: Casino Cage Cashiers are responsible for providing Excellent Guest Service including, but not limited to, the accurate performance of monetary transactions with guests and other employees. Handle large amounts of cash, accounting for total funds received throughout the shift. Cash various checks, chips, miscellaneous expenditures, and coin for guests and team members. Chip fills and credits for table games. Verify outlet revenue and prepare banks. Process credit markers, payment of markers and front money deposits. Other Specific Job Functions: Maintain keys, credit, front money and logs Perform even cash exchanges for slot redemptions, perform cash advances, promotional payouts and foreign currency Parking validation, create and renew parking passes Be knowledgeable of all property amenities, promotions and events to assist with guest inquiries Performs all other job related duties as requested This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position. Requirements Required: Must be 21 years of age or older Must have 1 year of guest service experience Must have 1 year of Cash and Chip handling experience Must have 1 year of Casino experience Must have knowledge of Casino Credit Must be able to obtain a Gaming Registration Card Ability to perform Front line Entry Level Transactions, Chip Bank Transactions, Poker Transactions, Cage Credit Transactions, Cash Bank Transactions and Employee Bank/Window Transactions Ability to use office equipment, input information into computer applications accurately and in a timely manner Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment Excellent customer skills Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts Professional appearance and demeanor Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent Able to effectively communicate in English, in both in written and oral form Perform the duties described in compliance with Gaming and Federal laws and regulations Consult Internal Controls and Cage Policies and Procedures Manual Attend all company and department mandated training Must be trained and adhere to Title 31 rules and regulations Report any suspicious activity to shift manager Preferred: Ability to use a computer keyboard, 10-key calculator, coin and currency counters. Identify counterfeit currency, checks and chips. Basic computer skills, Excel, Oasis. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Gaming Registration WORKING SCHEDULES: Varies PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to spend the majority of the shift standing. Effectively and efficiently move around the cage. Retrieve and move coin bags and racks of chips, which may weigh as much as 25 pounds, repeatedly during the shift.
