• Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling cash.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Cashier you are responsible for handling customer transactions quickly and accurately, maintaining a clean work area, and providing friendly, attentive service. You will be the first point of contact and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers with a warm, professional attitude.
• Accurately process payments using the POS system (cash, card, digital wallets).
• Handle receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Assist with packing takeaway orders and answering customer questions.
• Inform customers about promotions, daily specials, or loyalty programs.
• Support café team during busy hours (e.g., helping serve or clearing tables).
• Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cash handling procedures.
• Make sure all opening and closing duties are done as per in-charge shift/supervisor assigned task.
