To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a Cashier who is highly fluent in English, both spoken and written. The ability to spell accurately and type efficiently on a keyboard is essential for this role. Knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, or Japanese is considered a strong asset but is not required.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Cashier, you will play a key role on our front-line team by ensuring efficient and accurate transactions while providing outstanding service to our customers. Strong English communication skills—including spelling and basic computer typing ability—are required to perform the job effectively. Additional language skills are a plus and will help us better serve our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and deliver a positive shopping experience
  • Accurately scan and process purchases at the checkout counter
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers in fluent English
  • Enter product codes and customer information accurately using a keyboard
  • Address customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Assist customers with locating products and providing product information
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring supplies are well-stocked
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Assist with restocking shelves and applying pricing labels to merchandise during slower periods

    Pay: $18.69 per hour
