Enerbase is a locally owned cooperative that supplies its patrons with goods and services. As a Cashier/CSR at Enerbase, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service at our convenience store location. Our cooperative operates several convenience stores in Minot. We also offer sales and services for farm machinery, full-service pumps, and automotive service and repair. As a Cashier/CSR, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, answering inquiries, and providing assistance in a friendly and professional manner. You will also support the overall operations of the store by maintaining cleanliness, stocking shelves, and ensuring the availability of products. Additionally, you will play a critical role in promoting our cooperative and its services to customers. Enerbase prides itself on its commitment to customer satisfaction and its cooperative values. Responsibilities Perform cash handling duties, including processing transactions, giving change, and maintaining accurate records of sales Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, including stocking shelves, tidying up the sales floor, and ensuring the availability of products Promote and upsell cooperative products, services, and promotions to customers Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and other store equipment efficiently and accurately Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe and secure environment for staff and customers High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems Ability to work evening shifts anywhere from 2:30-11:00 pm including weekends, and holidays as needed Enerbase provides a full benefit package to FT employees after 60 days including medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield) Dental, Vision , company paid short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance.
