We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced grocery store environment. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with merchandising and stocking products is a plus.
• Familiarity with product demos and upselling techniques will be beneficial.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
