JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. You will also assist in daily cleaning tasks including washing dishes, making chocolates and cupcakes, and keep our cases full and clean.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and transaction processing.
• Previous retail bakery experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication skills are essential for customer interactions.

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Engage in upselling and product demonstrations to enhance the shopping experience and boost sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assisting cake decorators with making cupcakes, stocking merchandise, and making chocolates.
• Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Taking cake orders in store and over the phone.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone.
