  • Strong communication and organizational skills, must be fluent in English.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
  • Previous clerical or admin experience is a plus, but not essential

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Full-Time Cashier to join our team at Mullingar Hardware. This role is 40 hours per week and ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers with a smile, assisting with their needs, and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at the checkout throughout the day.
  • Accurately handle cash and card transactions with confidence, and follow cash-handling policies.
  • Administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining accurate records.
  • Promptly answer incoming calls, website enquiries, and respond to emails.
  • Support colleagues with general store duties as required.
  • All other ad-hoc admin duties.
