JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our farm stand team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. You’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every visitor, promote our farm products, and support the daily operations of our animal farm market.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette (multilingual a plus)
• Technical sales skills and confidence in performing product demos
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for cash handling
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-focused mindset

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product questions and recommendations
• Process transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system
• Conduct product demonstrations to increase customer engagement and understanding
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area
• Resolve customer concerns and handle complaints professionally
• Restock shelves and monitor product availability
• Answer basic questions about our farm, animals, or seasonal events
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction
