Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with customers Provide accurate change and receipts Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information Process returns and exchanges according to company policy Monitor cash drawer and report any discrepancies to management Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
