Operates cash registers, self-checkouts, and online ordering system to ensure smooth and efficient transactions. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service Execute proper cash handling and payment processing in accordance with company policies and procedures Apply discounts, coupons, and applicable promotions as appropriate during checkout process Preforms drawer audit at the start and end of assigned shift Monitor Self-Checkouts to address customer issues and ensure smooth transactions Conduct curbside ordering, picking & packing in accordance with company policy and procedure Follow proper bagging procedures when bagging groceries as needed Have approximate knowledge of store layout and product locations Maintain a clean and safe front end Other duties as assigned Working Conditions Works in a non-smoking store environment where there is occasional discomfort due to exposure to dust/pollen, elements, temperatures changes, and infrequent environmental noise.
