This role greets guests, manages transactions, and supports overall dining room flow to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The position works closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. ---------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet and welcome guests, providing a positive first impression * Manage cash register operations and accurately process payments * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area * Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to support timely service * Address guest questions and concerns with professionalism and care * Assist in maintaining smooth flow of seating and guest service ---------------------------------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience (restaurant or retail preferred) * Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask ---------------------------------------- SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting * Teamwork and collaboration skills * Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude
