We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Cashier/CSR team members for our Java House Bistro location at the Indianapolis International Airport. Schedule & Location Details This position is located at the Indianapolis International Airport and operates: Monday through Sunday Nights and weekends required 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM (shifts vary) Target Start Date The anticipated start date for this position can range from late June through August, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines. Position Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license to obtain an airport parking pass Requirements Requirements Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards Sets up the station according to café guidelines Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner Follows portion control and presentation specifications set by the café Restocks all items as needed throughout shifts Cleans and maintains stations while practicing proper safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures Understands how to properly use and maintain all station equipment Prepares dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Ensures food quality and safety through proper sanitation, food handling, covering, and storage procedures Works efficiently and consistently in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable in food service procedures, sanitation practices, and safe food handling standards Demonstrates effective communication skills Follows all cash handling procedures accurately Assists with financial accountability by recording orders, handling payments, giving change, and balancing drawers Thank customers and encourage repeat business Acts as a role model for customers and staff while assisting with on-the-job training for new baristas/cashiers Works collaboratively with team members to support operations and company standards Demonstrates excellent listening and interpersonal skills Highly flexible and able to work effectively in a diverse environment Strong attention to detail in all areas of work Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills with minimal supervision Adapts well to changes in a fast-paced environment Willing to assist with additional duties as needed Promotes products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling
