Description To better serve our customers, Belletetes Inc. is seeking a part-time cashier for our Peterborough, NH location. The successful candidate will process customer sales, cover phones and all aspects of retail sales. This position requires working every other Saturday. Belletetes is a 5th generation, family-owned building materials supply company that has been in business for 125 years. With 10 locations throughout NH and MA, we believe our employees are our biggest asset! When you join our team, you will be working in a family-friendly atmosphere where career growth is important, and we try to promote from within. Requirements Greet customers as they enter the store. Accepts money in the form of cash, checks and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks. Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies. Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints or providing information. Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift. Processes returns and exchanges according to the store policy. Bag, box or wrap purchased items. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The cashier is responsible for processing customer sales, handling various payment methods, and balancing the cash register. They also assist customers with product inquiries, returns, and general store navigation.
