For the Cashier, this means greeting and assisting customers with their purchases in a respectful and professional manner, and making sure the customer leaves with a positive and valuable final impression of their shopping experience. Your Day-to-Day Ring out and bag customers’ items at checkout carefully and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service. Be familiar with the register POS system and specific Universal Price Codes (UPC`s) Be familiar with the store layout and the whereabouts of different items Carefully and accurately manage and count your cash drawer at the start and remainder of your shift If assigned; help out in other departments when needed If assigned; assist the self-checkout stations What you bring to the Farm Ability to learn and operate Adams’ point of sale systems Sustain a clean and organized workspace Willingness to learn and demonstrate Adams’ culture and values Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality Working Conditions Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of your shift.
