About the job The Corporate Services team is looking for a part time Cashier to accurately process food service sales transactions while providing excellent customer service to internal and external café patrons. As a Cashier, you will: Operate cashier touch screen terminal to key customer charges. Record postage stamp sales daily. Greet and assist. Maintain inventory of candies sold. Required qualifications Two years of experience as a cashier or related position. Some experience with credit card transactions. Course work related to Administrative Office Technology, Secretarial Science, or Business Administration preferred. Excellent customer service skills Good interpersonal and communication skills. General skills using computer hardware, with a user’s knowledge of various software packages. Good data entry and number recognition skills Experience with using a credit card machine such as Clover. Experience using a POS system for cashiering. Ability to process credit card transactions. Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
