JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an exceptional Receptionist / Cashier to join our Service team. This pivotal role involves processing payments for services rendered, answering client inquiries, booking appointments, following up with customers, and providing outstanding customer service to ensure the smooth operation of our Service department.
As the first point of contact for our customers, this position requires someone who is articulate, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys helping others, excels at multitasking, and is eager to be a key contributor to our team’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service or cashier experience is preferred. Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills are required. Familiarity with scheduling software and cash management systems is an advantage.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply, as bilingual communication skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow the assigned work schedule.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle customer concerns calmly and efficiently.
  • All applicants must successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Be the face and voice of our company.
  • Answer incoming calls to the Service department, assist customers with scheduling appointments, and ensure proper follow-up. Confirm all relevant customer details (name, phone number, VIN, mileage, etc.) and verify appointments in advance.
  • Accurately process payments for products and services. Close out repair orders and ensure that all transactions are properly documented.
  • Maintain and file repair orders, ensuring they are readily accessible for future reference. Take detailed and accurate messages, ensuring that important information is communicated effectively.
  • Oversee daily deposits and maintain a balanced cash management system. Ensure accurate cash handling and secure processing of financial transactions.
  • Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude, providing assistance with any inquiries. Direct them to the appropriate person or location as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to customers to confirm service details, gather feedback, and provide updates on their service requests.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including filing, maintaining service records, and assisting other team members as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
