We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. Deals 4 You is a family run business that buys and sells new and used items. As example ; tools, antiques, collectables, housewares, gold/silver and jewellery. Your job will be providing excellent customer service, managing transactions, pricing and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

SKILLS

• Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone.
• Experience in retail sales with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  We are closed Sunday and Monday, as well as Holiday’s
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing product information and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote store promotions effectively.
• Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products and services as needed.
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately and handle change effectively.
• Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing customer flow during peak hours.
