JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Floor Managers, the Greenhouse Cashier is the welcoming face of our front end. This role is about more than processing transactions — it’s about creating a positive, memorable experience for every customer.
As the first and last point of contact, you’ll greet customers with warmth, efficiently manage sales transactions, and keep the checkout area clean and inviting. Whether you’re scanning items, processing payments, or assisting with questions, your cheerful attitude and attention to detail will help ensure our customers leave with a smile.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Experience with Lightspeed POS is considered an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet customers as they arrive and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Accurately scan merchandise and process transactions.
• Receive and process various payment types (cash, debit, credit, gift cards).
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout/front-end area.
• Assist customers with inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff when needed.
• Support floor staff with light tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
