As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service. You'll interact with customers daily, answering questions, processing payments, and helping create a friendly shopping atmosphere. Responsibilities Operate the cash register to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while adhering to company policies. Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information as needed. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring supplies are stocked. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. Follow all health and safety protocols related to food handling and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service that fosters a welcoming environment. Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash transactions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and capability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
