JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the point of sale while also ensuring that merchandise is stocked and displayed effectively throughout the store. You will also be responsible for helping to maintain a neat and organized stockroom, helping to unload our trucks, and helping to keep our other store across the parking lot supplied with merchandise. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in retail sales store environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with merchandising techniques to effectively display products.

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring proper placement and organization for optimal merchandising.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area and throughout the store; as well as in the stockroom.
• Help unload our trucks, as needed.
• Help customers load their purchases, as needed.
