Cashier Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Customer service and/or Cashier experience
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints
• Must be available to work weekends and holiday

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred

• Welcome customers, answer their questions, help them locate items and provide advice or recommendations when requested
• Operate scanners, cash registers and other electronics
• Work a POS system to facilitate cash, debit card and credit card purchases. Balance the cash register
• Accept payments, ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and issue a receipt to every customer
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Resolve customer complaints
• Bag or wrap items to ensure safe transport
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Must be able to work independently and follow direction well
• Facilitate a positive and supportive working environment
