DESCRIPTION: Cosentino's Sunfresh is seeking reliable and customer-focused Overnight Cashiers to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions during the overnight shift (9 PM - 5 AM). The ideal candidate should have strong cash handling skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various tasks, including operating the point of sale (POS) system, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register and POS system, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with bagging merchandise. * Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning and stocking merchandise. * Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products as needed. * Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment. * Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and team members. * Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures. * Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Working knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic arithmetic. * General knowledge of customer service principles. * Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. * Experience with cash register operation. * Possess a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior experience in a retail or restaurant operation environment. * Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices. * Experience with selling techniques. * High school diploma or equivalent.
