WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Leveraging Blue Mountain’s various computer systems and reporting tools, the Cashroom Supervisor will ensure all daily balancing and audit activities are completed in a timely and effective manner. This contributes to the accuracy of the Financial Results, which are utilized by leadership across the resort, providing a solid foundation on which to Grow. In addition to performing duties expected of the Revenue Auditor position, the incumbent will also assist the Cashroom Manager in onboarding, training, supervising, and providing feedback and coaching to Cashroom employees.

  • Training and orienting new employees to ensure standards are met and procedures followed while engaging all Cashroom employees through appreciation and recognition.
  • Supporting the Cashroom Manager in scheduling shifts and coordinating the assignment of activities to all workers in the department.
  • Performing any duties under the job descriptions in the Cashroom (Money Counter, Accounting Receipts Clerk, Revenue Auditor) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and chargebacks between BMR, Guests, and credit card companies.
  • Analyzing new product transactions and systems to assist in implementation of controls.
  • Monitoring Cashroom controls to safeguard the accuracy of the transactions occurring in the various systems and protect company assets, including cash and floats. When discrepancies or violations are discovered, they are accountable to bring them to the attention of the Cashroom Manager and/or the Senior Director of Finance.
