CASS SPECIALIST

Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Hybrid – 3 Days in Bath/2 WFH

Our client is recruiting for a CASS specialist to join their dedicated team! Existing knowledge of CASS 6, 7, and 8 is essential for this role as you will be playing a key role in ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of CASS 6, 7, 8
  • Proven financial services experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the design and implementation of a first line CASS oversight function
  • Supporting operations in delivering strategic goals for process improvement relating to CASS
  • Coaching key individuals and leading CASS training sessions
  • Planning and coordinating both internal and external audits
  • Preparing and delivering CASS adherence reports/opinions to the Executive Team and Board
  • Advising teams on their regulatory CASS activities such as reconciliations, cash management, and deposit allocations
  • Undertaking trend analysis on breaches and near misses, suggesting process revision as appropriate
  • Completing weekly, monthly, and annual reviews of the CASS breach log and risk profiling
  • Producing and maintaining CASS policies and frameworks
  • Leading a small team of staff
