Description

We are currently recruiting multiple Production Operatives to join our Wax department on the night shift (10pm-6am).
The wax cell operator will work on high quality wax patterns used in the investment casting process. This role requires good attention to details, precise hand work and the ability to follow precise instructions. The operator must be able to handle fragile wax pattern with care detecting subtle defects and working safely using sharp tools and hot equipment and material.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good attention to details and focus on producing high quality work
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and process documentation
  • High level of manual dexterity and steady hands with proven ability to perform precise manual tasks
  • Experience using small tools for detailed work such as tweezers, dental tools, small paint brushes
  • Comfortable working with hot materials and adhering to strict safety procedures
  • Basic understanding of equipment care and appreciation for working with high value equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work on small and large products depending on customer demand.

Responsibilities
  • Finish wax patterns to precise standards as per instructions
  • Read, interpret, and strictly follow detailed work instructions
  • Inspect wax patterns for defects
  • Use precision tools to handle and repair wax patterns
  • Ensure proper use of equipment to prevent injury or damage to pattern
  • Maintain a fast-paced workflow to meet production targets while upholding quality standard
  • Record production data and report issues or deviations to the shift leader promptly
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
