We are currently recruiting for a casual Bartender at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is renowned as one of Worcestershire’s best-kept secrets. With a recent £4.2m renovation, meticulously designed to celebrate the country house hotel’s history, introduced the new brasserie-style dining experience in The Refectory restaurant, situated at the site of the original nun’s cafeteria. An additional eight new bedrooms are situated on the second floor, with a further seven rooms built in the original schoolhouse in St Anne’s Wing, bringing the total number of bedrooms to 70.

Responsibilities
  • The role of a Bartender involves assisting the team in ensuring delivery of the bar operations to Hand Picked Hotels standards ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
  • Responsible for preparing, creating and serving a variety of bar snacks and beverages. Always seeking opportunities of creativity and upselling.
  • You will be expected to be able to hold a good level of knowledge regarding food/drink menu items and availability across all areas including the bar and restaurant.
  • Working towards the achievement of departmental goals, contributing ideas and being open to trying new ways of working. Take personal ownership, operating within role parameters.
  • As the Bartender, you will be expected to communicate and delegate in line with business levels and events within the hotel.
