Description

We are currently recruiting an Awake Night Personal Support Worker to assist our male employer with ALS, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.
He is looking for caring and energetic individual with a passion to make a difference, where your presence and contribution are truly appreciated.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • RCA or nursing background is a strong asset
  • Completion of Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (PROP) an asset or willingness to take the course
  • Experience with clients using assistive Communication Tech
  • One year caregiving experience is required
  • Experience with suctioning machine is required
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (including boosters) and have a current (in the last 12 months) Flu vaccination due to the client’s condition
    Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to severe symptoms of COVID-19. Candidates may be required to provide proof of vaccination.
