We are currently recruiting for a Casual Chef de Partie at Norton House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Sweeping past the original stone gatehouse and journeying along the tree-lined drive of Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, this prestigious Georgian country house leaves an indelible first impression. Like fine malt whisky, it has improved with age. Now a mecca for stylish dining, 21st-century comforts and cutting-edge technology blend with historic features to create a sense of the old and new working in unison.
This 1840 country house hotel is an idyllic Scottish wedding venue and one of the best meeting venues in Edinburgh, thanks to its location, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre.

Responsibilities

Our Chef de Partie’s enjoy being part of a team and love the fact that no day is the same. You will be running a busy section, already be able to cook to a high standard, and have the ability to help impart your knowledge to junior chefs.
All of our hotels are individual in their own way, just like our Chefs. Whether it’s filleting or frying, you’ll know your way around a kitchen like the back of your hand and have a mind full of delicious creations ready to wow our guests.
