Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Chef, Demi Chef, or a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knife skills and foundational cooking knowledge.
• A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Experience with Japanese cuisine is a bonus but not essential

THE ROLE

This is a casual position with flexible hours, including nights and weekends. You will work closely with our Head Chef and senior team members to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting with daily food preparation and mise en place.
• Working on various stations (hot, cold, and grill) as required.
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to Kid Kyoto’s high standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Contributing to a positive and supportive kitchen culture.
