    This Melbourne family owned and operated business is growing significantly, and are looking for a STAR to support them with this growth. You will be working under the supervision of the Production Manager and Operations Manager. The company is the leader in their competitive field which specialises in personalised confectionery.

This unique opportunity entails preparing a wide range of chocolate orders for packing, while handling other preparative and administrative tasks involved in the production process. The role will also include:

  • Wrapping, labelling and creating a range of personalised chocolate favours.
  • Receiving goods, despatching goods, storing goods, stock take and rotating stock
  • Communicating regularly with the artwork and admin departments about order requirements and progress.
  • Learning how to use a range of machinery - you won’t believe the range we have.
  • Meeting and exceeding time targets on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining a positive team culture
  • Dealing with almost every chocolate known to man on a daily basis and not losing your mind!

Your previous experience in warehouse assistant, pick and pack or processing role will lead you to success, although is not mandatory. You must have the following:

  • Be well organised, enthusiastic, self-motivated and honest with the ability to work independently.
  • Upbeat attitude towards tackling the days workload.
  • Enjoy working in a team (and chatty) environment.
  • A sharp eye for detail and pride in your work.
  • Great manual dexterity is a must.
  • Excellent English reading and writing capabilities - all orders have small variations that you must be able to pick up
