SUMMARY:
Family SOS is looking for amazing staff to work at the Greystone Centre in Spryfield and support our After-School Programs for children and teens, as well as our Food Bank (Community Market). This position is flexible and can work around school or other obligations. This contract position (Casual, April-June 2025) is at 4 Cranberry Court.
The program operates on
Monday from 2:30 pm-5:00 pm
Tuesday from 2:30 pm-7:00 pm
Wednesday 2:30 pm-5:00 pm
Thursday 2:30 pm-7:00 pm
Friday 9:30 am- 1:30 pm
Hours available per week are flexible and may vary depending on the program requirements and staff availability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Community and Youth Worker is responsible for providing after-school programs for children, youth ages 5-17, and also supporting our Community Market (Food Bank) at the Greystone Community Centre.
Duties will include but are not limited to, actively participating and leading by example the Healthy Kidz and Healthy Teenz After School Programs, supporting the Food Bank by unloading the truck, unpacking and sorting items, and distributing food, or leading other activities in the Centre as directed by the leadership team. The employee will also be responsible for attending regular meetings, attending professional training workshops and continuing education to remain current with trends and best practices in the industry. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
